Our guest instructor this season will be Lynn Fanthorpe of the Fraser Valley Quilters Guild.  She is a past president of the Guild and has organized three of their quilt shows.  In addition, she conducts machine quilting classes for the guild.  She lives in Coquitlam with her sister, three Australian Cattle dogs and one very patient cat.

The weekend of May 5th and 6th, 2012 will see her visit Powell River for a weekend of instruction and entertainment.  The fun starts on the evening of Thursday, May 3rd when she presents a Trunk Show.  On May 5th the class will be a Judy Niemeyer table runner.  Sunday's class will be a mixed machine quilting class.  Check the blog as the date nears for class lists and prepare to enjoy!

2012 Hands Across the Water will be hosted by the Campbell River Friendship Quilters' Guild on Saturday, October 13th.
